HOMEGATE MORTGAGE ANNOUNCES PRODUCT
EXPANSION
WEST CHESTER, 0H, DECEMBER 13, 2006 -
HomeGate Mortgage, LLC announces product
expansion into commercial mortgages and
reverse mortgages. This expansion comes
on the heels of a record month in
November with loan production of
$9,000,000 in volume.
Commercial mortgage marketing commenced
across all 50 states, with a physical
presence in Ohio and Florida. “We have
been amazed at the response to our
commercial division. Small to medium
commercial properties have been
overlooked by the banks. These folks are
starving for good service and financing
options,” according to HomeGate
President Mike Mutlu. The division is
doing business as 1st Accelerat
Commercial Funding Group, and quickly
developed $10 million dollars of
application volume.
Concurrently, HomeGate entered the
reverse mortgage market through a
nationwide marketing campaign. This
product is designed for seniors aged 62
years and older who wish to eliminate
mortgage payments and get cash from
their home equity. HomeGate CEO Jon
Neill stated: “Today’s retirees wish to
continue to live independently in their
homes as they age. This federally
designed and guaranteed program helps
make that happen.”
In partnership with Upland Publishing,
HomeGate is launching a new web site,
to
provide free information on reverse
mortgages. Greg Nimmo of Upland
Publishing said, “The biggest hurdle
with the reverse mortgage is that most
of us need to understand better how they
work and how they can improve our
lives.”
Entering its third full calendar year of
operations in 2007 HomeGate Mortgage now
employs 30 people in Ohio, Florida, and
New Mexico. States licensed for
operation have expanded over the past
twelve months to include Minnesota, in
addition to Florida and Ohio. The company continues to be on
Fox television, and to sponsor a court
at Tim McGee’s Courts 4 Sports in Mason,
Ohio. HomeGate Mortgage is a member of
